About Storm Drilling Equipment
My name is Sergey, and I am the founder and chief engineer of Storm Drilling Equipment. Our work is based on practical engineering, real field experience and a clear understanding of how drilling equipment must perform in different conditions.
Made in Ukraine
All Storm drilling rigs are designed and manufactured in Ukraine. Even during difficult periods we continue to work, improve our designs and maintain stable quality. Every rig goes through a full development, assembly and testing cycle to ensure reliable and predictable performance in the field.
Where our rigs are used
Storm drilling equipment is used in geological exploration, water well drilling, construction and foundation work, mining operations, utility installation, power and energy projects, geothermal drilling, environmental monitoring, scientific work and archaeological tasks.

Company history
The first Storm prototype was developed in 2014. In 2015, ten prototypes were built and tested. In 2016, the updated Storm 20S model was introduced. In 2017 and 2018, production of the Storm 60S and our own drilling tools began. In 2019, the first international shipment was sent to Australia. In 2020, we expanded into Poland and the Netherlands. In 2021, equipment was delivered to the Maldives. In 2022, despite the war in Ukraine, production and deliveries continued. In 2025, we plan to open a full equipment showroom.

Storm equipment is used by many clients across different industries. More than one hundred rigs have been manufactured and delivered. Official shipments now cover several countries.

Manufacturing process
The process starts with research and concept development. Prototypes are then built, tested and refined. Production is based on quality materials and modern equipment. Each rig goes through quality control and all required certifications. Clients receive technical guidance throughout the process. After installation, we continue to provide support and assistance.
Service and support
We keep the necessary spare parts in stock and respond quickly to urgent requests. If repairs are needed, replacement parts are shipped the same day. When possible, we also advise on compatible components from other manufacturers.
